It’s one thing to launch a Kickstarter, and an entirely different thing to fulfill it!
We know it’s stressful and confusing and that finding good information can be tough.
That’s why we’ve put together this checklist to help you get started.
What is Kickstarter fulfillment?
Kickstarter fulfillment is the process of delivering rewards to backers after a successful crowdfunding campaign. It involves storing, packing, and shipping products to the supporters who pledged funds. Creators either handle fulfillment themselves or work with third-party services that specialize in shipping Kickstarter rewards.
How does Kickstarter fulfillment work?
Once a campaign ends and products are manufactured, the items are sent to a fulfillment center. The center stores the products, then picks, packs, and ships them to backers based on their reward levels. Tracking is usually provided, allowing backers to monitor their shipment status.
What shipping company does Kickstarter use?
Kickstarter itself does not provide shipping services. Creators are responsible for selecting a shipping company or fulfillment partner.
